Howard S. Hessan, M.D.

A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Hessan is board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology. In practice since 1988, he is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, a member of Maryland Society of Otolaryngology, and has served as Chief of Otolaryngology at Howard County General Hospital.Dr. Hessan has a practice in general otolaryngology with a specific interest in pediatric ENT, hearing loss, nasal and sinus problems, sleep apnea, and throat difficulties.

Mark S. Schneyer, M.D.

Dr. Schneyer is a native of Baltimore, Maryland.  He is a graduate of both the University of Maryland-College Park and the University School of Medicine.  He was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in his 3rd year of medical school.  After graduating medical school, Dr. Schneyer completed his residency at the University of Virginia in Otolaryngology-Head and neck Surgery.  He practices all aspects of otolaryngology, including thyroid, ear, and sinus surgery, and enjoys treating patients of all ages.  In his spare time, Dr. Schneyer likes to spend time with his wife and 2 children, hike, scuba dive, snowboard, and cheer on the Ravens, Orioles, and Terps.

Enzo Cosentino, M.D.

Dr Enzo Cosentino received his medical degree at the Ohio State University before completing his General Surgery and Otolaryngology Residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center.  He has taught surgical skills to ENT residents at University of Maryland as an assistant professor for 25 years and has also taught medical residents at Saint Agnes.  Dr Cosentino was among the first to perform cutting edge procedures including myocutaneous flaps, homograft tympanoplasty and laser stapedotomy at the University of Maryland Medical Center and Saint Agnes and has presented several lectures on the advancement of his specialty.  He has served the medical community through several appointments including the Infectious Control and the Credentialing committee at Saint Agnes, Chairman of Med-Chi Specialty committee, Chairman of the Peer Review Committee for the Maryland Society of ENT ( where he also served as Treasurer and President), and President of the University of Maryland ENT alumni for two years.  Dr Cosentino’s dedication to community service is evident in his other voluntary activities; lecturing to residents of several nursing  homes about hearing loss and other ENT issues and participating in several medical missions to Colombia providing medical and surgical treatment for those in need, some of who had never seen a physician. He continues to practice in our Baltimore office.  

 

 

Laura A. Kaelber, Au.D., CCC-A

Dr. Kaelber has been with Maryland Audiology since 1996. She is a nationally certified, Maryland state-licensed clinical audiologist who has worked with hearing impaired individuals for several years. She received her Doctorate in Audiology from Salus University and both her Master's Degree in Audiology and Bachelor's Degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology and Audiology from Towson University. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and is clinically certified by the American SpeechLanguage-Hearing Association. Dr. Kaelber has a broad range of clinical experience with special interests in advance hearing aid fittings and rehabilitation.

Mei-Ling Chen, MA, CCC-A

Mei-Ling Chen is a graduate of University of Maryland, College Park. She is licensed in Maryland and certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.  Ms. Chen has been in clinical practice since 2002.  She is dedicated to providing compassionate, high quality care through patient education and open communication. 

 

Suzanne Bressette, Au.D., CCC-A

Suzanne Bressette, Au.D.  is a nationally certified, Maryland state-licensed audiologist.  She graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park with a bachelor's and master's in Audiology.  She later earned a Doctorate in Audiology from The University of Florida, Gainesville.  Dr. Bressette is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She has over 20 years of experience providing comprehensive audiological care.   She especially enjoys diagnostic testing and dispensing of hearing aids.
